  We purchased a fireplace insert from Dean's a couple years back. We love the product and the installation was done professionally and expertly. We have our chimney cleaned annually- we have used a chimney cleaning service. Recently, we learned that Dean's also offer this service so we decided to try them out for chimney cleaning. It turned out to be a good move! Not only did the young man sent to do the job show up on time and with a smile, he did a thorough job cleaning our chimney- more thorough than had been done in the past. On top of that, since he was also very familiar with the insert we have, he performed an inspection and noticed that a couple parts to our insert were damaged and needed replacement. AND they were under warranty so they did not cost us anything. Parts were ordered and replaced a week later with no hassle. I'm certain that another chimney cleaning service would not have spotted the damaged parts to our insert. Since those parts have been replaced, our insert works better than ever. I'll be using Dean's as my chimney cleaner going forward. They are a good company.
