  I recently went to Tips to Toes for a haircut. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. I waited 19 minutes exactly from the scheduled start of the appointment until the hairdresser came into the waiting room and said that she had just finished with her last client and was going to get herself some water. A few minutes later she came and got me for my haircut. I gave the hairdresser a few simple instructions; what length I wanted, " a few long layers", and "keep everything soft / no sharp edges". This is not what I got. Apparently she feathered my hair. To add insult to injury it wasn't even a good feather job like the kind I used to get in the 80's. In addition to the feathering there are big, blunt cuts or chucks throughout my hair. When I came home my husband asked "Are you a punk rocker now?" Not the reaction I was going for when I initially booked the appointment. I could forgive waiting 19 minutes from my scheduled time but this haircut will take months to grow out and get over.
